Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of QRkit.io, our QR code generator, and related dashboard services.

Updated:

1. Acceptance and Scope

By accessing or using QRkit.io, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you use the service on behalf of a company or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to accept these terms for that entity.

If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the platform.

2. Definitions

  • Service: The QR code platform operated at qrkit.io, including static and dynamic QR code creation, design customization, billing, and analytics features.
  • Account: A registered user profile used to access dashboard features, subscriptions, billing, and generated QR code projects.
  • Content: Any data, text, links, files, images, or metadata you submit to generate or manage QR codes.
  • Subscription: A paid monthly or yearly access plan processed through Stripe and governed by the pricing shown at checkout.
  • Trial: The 7-day free trial made available to new accounts before a paid subscription is required for premium features.
  • Third-Party Services: External tools, providers, links, or integrations that are not operated by QRkit.io.

3. License and Allowed Use

We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the service in accordance with these Terms. You may use our QR code generator for lawful business and personal use, including static and dynamic QR code campaigns.

This license does not transfer ownership of the platform, software, or branding assets. You remain responsible for the legality, accuracy, and destination of the QR codes and linked content you publish.

4. Restrictions

  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the platform without written permission.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or proprietary implementation details.
  • Use the service for unlawful, fraudulent, harmful, or deceptive activity.
  • Upload or distribute malicious code, scripts, or content that may damage users, systems, or infrastructure.
  • Interfere with platform stability, security controls, billing flows, or access controls.
  • Use QRkit.io to route users to illegal, deceptive, infringing, or harmful destinations.

5. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate registration and billing details and keep them up to date.

We may suspend or restrict access if we detect abuse, security risks, non-payment, fraudulent billing behavior, or serious violations of these Terms.

6. Billing, Trials, and Refunds

New accounts currently start with a 7-day free trial. The trial begins when the account is created. During the trial, you can test premium features. If no paid subscription is active after the trial ends, premium features such as dynamic QR management, scan analytics, API access, and team functionality may require an upgrade.

Paid plans, billing cycles, taxes, and included features are shown on our pricing and checkout pages at the time of purchase. By completing a purchase, you authorize the corresponding charges through our payment processor Stripe.

Unless a plan or checkout flow states otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel them. If the Stripe customer portal is available for your account, you can manage invoices, payment methods, and subscription status there from the dashboard. You can also contact us through the cancellation page.

Cancellation typically marks the subscription to end at the close of the current billing period rather than stopping service immediately. We store subscription metadata such as plan, status, invoice references, and Stripe identifiers in order to reconcile checkout, billing, support, and webhook events.

Refund handling is described in our Refund Policy. We may update prices or plan limits in the future. Any change will apply prospectively unless required by law.

7. Your Content and Ownership

You retain ownership of the content you submit and the intellectual property of your generated QR code campaigns, to the extent you have legal rights to that content.

You grant us a limited right to process your content only as needed to provide, secure, host, and improve the service.

8. Third-Party Services and Links

The service may include links or integrations from third parties such as Stripe, Google, or destinations you configure behind QR codes. We do not control third-party websites or tools and are not responsible for their availability, security, or content. Your use of third-party services is subject to their own terms and policies.

9. Cookies, Authentication, and Optional Integrations

We use essential cookies and similar technologies to keep the platform functional, authenticate signed-in users, and protect account-related actions. These technologies are required for core dashboard features such as login, checkout access, and account security.

QRkit.io can use consent-based analytics and marketing technologies on public pages. Non-essential analytics and marketing tools remain disabled until selected through cookie settings. If you explicitly connect an optional third-party integration such as your own Google Analytics account inside the dashboard, that integration is additionally governed by the related provider terms and our Privacy Policy.

You can manage browser-level cookie settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent core parts of the service from working correctly.

10. Updates and Service Changes

We may introduce updates, enhancements, bug fixes, design changes, or infrastructure changes. Features may evolve over time to improve reliability, security, billing support, or product quality.

We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue specific features or parts of the service with reasonable operational discretion.

11. Warranties Disclaimer

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or compatibility with every third-party environment.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, QRkit.io and its providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, business opportunities, or goodwill.

Where liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to the amounts paid by you to us for the relevant service period, unless a different limit is required by mandatory law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, losses, liabilities, and reasonable legal fees arising from your misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of third-party rights.

14. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or create security, legal, or operational risks. Sections intended to survive termination remain effective, including liability, indemnity, and ownership provisions.

If a trial expires or a paid subscription ends, premium functionality may be reduced or disabled in line with the product rules active at that time.

15. Copyright and Legal Notices

If you believe copyrighted material has been used on our platform without authorization, please contact us with sufficient details so we can review and respond appropriately.

Suggestions, ideas, and feedback you submit may be used by us to improve the platform without obligation of compensation.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
