Refund Policy

This policy explains when refunds are available, how we review requests, and how cancellations are handled.

Updated:

1. Scope and Agreement

This Refund Policy applies to purchases made through QRkit.io. By purchasing a subscription, you agree to this policy as well as our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

2. Definitions

  • Service: The QRkit.io platform used to create, customize, and manage static and dynamic QR codes.
  • Customer: Any individual, business, or organization that registers for an account or purchases a plan.
  • Initial Purchase: The first successful paid charge for a subscription plan, including a conversion from the free trial into a paid plan, but excluding renewals, reactivations, or plan changes unless explicitly stated.
  • Refund Window: The first 7 calendar days after the Initial Purchase date.
  • Renewal Charge: Any recurring subscription payment processed after the Initial Purchase, whether monthly or yearly.

3. Refund Eligibility

You are eligible for a full refund if you request it within the 7-day Refund Window after your Initial Purchase.

The free 7-day trial itself is not a paid charge and therefore does not create a refund claim. Refund eligibility starts only once the first paid subscription charge has been processed.

Requests after the Refund Window are reviewed case by case. While approval cannot be guaranteed after the window, we will evaluate legitimate service issues fairly.

4. Monthly Plans, Annual Plans, and Trial Conversions

Monthly plans and annual plans are both eligible for full refunds when requested within 7 days of the Initial Purchase.

This includes a first paid subscription started during or immediately after the free trial. Subscription charges are processed through Stripe. Refunds, when approved, are returned to the original payment method used in Stripe and may take additional processing time depending on Stripe, your bank, or your card issuer.

Renewals, reactivations, plan changes, or discounted extensions are generally not treated as Initial Purchases unless we state otherwise in the checkout flow or in a written offer.

5. Non-Refundable Cases

  • Renewal Charges are generally non-refundable, except where required by law or in confirmed service-failure cases.
  • Promotional, discounted, or custom-priced purchases are generally non-refundable unless a critical issue cannot be resolved.
  • Partial refunds for unused time after the Refund Window are not generally available.
  • We may decline refunds when there is clear abuse, fraud, chargeback abuse, or usage inconsistent with normal product evaluation.

6. How to Request a Refund

Send your request to [email protected] and include your account email plus any available order, invoice, or checkout details so we can verify eligibility quickly.

You can also use our contact page. If approved, refunds are returned through the original Stripe payment method.

7. Cancellation Policy

If the Stripe billing portal is available for your account, you can manage your paid subscription from the dashboard there. You can also submit a request through our cancellation page.

Cancellation usually sets your subscription to end at the current billing period boundary rather than stopping service immediately. Once cancellation is in effect, no further Renewal Charge should be created for that subscription unless you reactivate or purchase again.

If a refund is approved, we may end the paid service earlier than the normal period-end date because the paid charge is being reversed.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy to reflect product, billing, or legal changes. The updated date at the top indicates the latest version. Continued use of the Service means you accept revisions.
